Skills Consortium conference 2014: Alcohol...medicines: Are we competent? - 25 June 2014

The Skills Consortium conference will take place on 25th June. Save the date.

Alcohol --- Medicines, are we competent?

The 3rd annual conference of the Substance Misuse Skills Consortium.

Resource For London,  356 Holloway Rd,  London N7 6PA

This year the conference will focus on two themes; alcohol, and dependency on medicines.

The question posed is: ‘are we competent?’. Speakers are asked to consider the workforce development issues in delivering services for these client groups.

Our contributors on the day will be drawn from a range of backgrounds, and we expect to have an interesting and thought provoking day. Current speakers include:

Dr Ed Day, Senior Clinical Lecturer in Addiction Psychiatry, King's College London
Dr Marcus Roberts, Chief Executive, DrugScope
Dr Emily Finch, Clinical Director and Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist, South London and Maudsley NHS Trust
