A training resource manual for any team working with families where there is substance misuse by parents. Produced for use by teams in Scotland the manual is applicable for teams in other parts of the UK.
The resource manual includes clear guides to training sessions and the materials required.
The programme covers ten group based exercises and is focused on improving the wellbeing and safety outcomes for children, taking an evidence-based approach and incorporating strength based ideas. The manual describes a set of training exercises that could be a valuable package for any team working with families where there is substance misuse by one or more of the parents or other family members.
